'Catching Up' on the 'Catch 'Em Up' Offshore Islamorada in the Florida Keys!!!!

The Holiday Isle Offshore Fishing Charters in Islamorada of the Florida Keys has been spectacular during the month of May. May has been such a busy month, that I am just now finding the spare time to catch up on the 'catch 'em up'. I was able to snap pics when I had the time, but the Dolphin bite has been 'out of this world'!!! (Left) L-R, Capt. Kevin Brown with anglers Joey Hoover, Charlie Ahault, Dustin Hoover, Mike Schmidt, and Casey Ahault of Okeechobee, Florida had a great day aboard Gold Reserve Charters with Capt. Kevin, catching 21 Dolphin up to 28 lbs. The anglers call themselves the 'Cheeseburger Group'...I didn't go into the whys. Angler Casey Ahault caught the small bull, and it was the first time he has ever caught a Dolphin.
Capt. Mel Walker (Right) and Mate stand beside 2 Bull Dolphin caught aboard Capt. Mel's charter, the 'Gotcha'. The smaller bull weighed in at 44 lbs and was caught by angler Tim Perez and the larger bull weighed in at 53 lbs and was caught by angler Bill Lawson. All total, the anglers caught 27 Dolphin from 18 to 53 lbs.
(Sitting in picture below) L-R Jeannette Lawson and Ted Lawson. Standing, L-R, Dan Lawson, Paco Perez, Tim Perez, and Bill Lawson. Angler Bill said that 'we have been fishing Capt. Mel Walker on the Gotcha every Tuesday in the month of May for 12 years, and this was just another typical day on the Gotcha'. I would say so!!!!!
On Mothers Day, the Rodriquez Family family took 'Mom' fishing for the day. They had a great time, on a beautiful day, aboard A Pirate's Choice charters with Capt. Larry Wren. They caught 12 Dolphin up to and over 30lbs and 3 Triple Tail. (Middle picture) L-R, Capt. Larry Wren and one of the Rodriguez family members display two of the Triple Tail caught. (Bottom picture) Dolphin caught by another member of the Rodriguez family.
Anglers Chris and Bill Murphy of Atlanta, Georgia, had a great time aboard Dee Cee charters with Capt. Chuck Schimmelman. They caught 12 Dolphin, 1 Skipjack, and 2 1/2 Amberjack. If you are wondering about the 1/2.....a shark chomped the jack in half before they got the fish to the boat. Sharks have to eat too!!!! (No picture available)
Sassy Lady Charters, along with anglers from College Park, Maryland caught 20 Mahi Mahi up to 25 lbs. A grand time was had by all. (No picture available)
