Sat, 7/9 At the Post Card Inn Charter Dock

Going to be  short one today---it's busy here on the Charter dock with most of the fleet out fishing for  Dolphin.
This is going to sound very redundant but yesterday the dolphin bite was fantastic! The captains and mates were filleting and packaging  for a long time, I expect the same here today also! I believe I also saw another sailfish release on one of the boats also, caught it out of the corner of my eye !Look for the flags guys that will tell you for sure!

A Post Card Friday At the Post Card Inn Charter Dock

That's right fellow anglers a Post Card Friday at the Post Card Inn!  It's just plain beautiful down here in Islamorada, ya all should be on the water catching fish instead of reading this report!
Well Let's get to the report ----well what can I say  DOLPHIN, DOLPHIN, DOLPHIN or for those who prefer MAHI, MAHI, MAHI !
they are BACK in force and everyday I see large fish ,up to 35 pounds with an occasional 40 plus fish. WOW!
Let's not forget the sailfish that have been caught and released also plus a 175 Pound blue Marlin caught on the DEE CEE with the Commodore  Capt. Chuck S!
WOW ,WOW, WOW!
We don't want to forget the reef either the bite has been excellent with plenty of yellowtail snapper, a few groupers and muttons mixed in ---stop reading and start booking your trips!

On the Early Bird these 2 anglers came in with a great catch, reeling in 6 Dolphin ranging from 15 to a 35 pound Bull. Awesome catch everyone !!!

Gold Reserve angler reels in 5 nice size Dolphin ranging from 10 to a 20 pound Bull. Great catch you guy's !!!

Aboard the Drop Back these 5 anglers limited out on Dolphin ranging from 8 to a 25 pound bull and 1 catch and release Sailfish. Fantastic catch everyone !!!

&/3/16---Islamorada Fl. Post Card Inn Charter Fishing report

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday at a bulging Post Card Inn , People, Fish, Boats ---Oh Boy! What a combination!  Blue Skies calm Seas and the fish are biting---The Dolphin are still showing in good Numbers with quite a few quality fish in the Mix, that is 25 pounds and up!
The Amberjack , Almaco Jacks, Blackfin Tuna, triple tail round out your catch  for variety, all good eating also!
In the reef department, the catches of Yellowtail Snapper are  off the hook , catching a limit is no problem most days, then trying for something else maybe a grouper or mutton snapper so
there it is again short and sweet folks !

Post Card Inn in Islamorada--- the fabulous Florida Keys---fishing report

It's Saturday and just got a quick moment to fill in all you fishermen and wannabe fishermen with yesterdays action! Quite a few of our Charter captains take the weekend off to do family things just like you but we had about half our fleet out and let me tell you  THE FISHING WAS GOOD from the looks of the full racks and how long it took to render the fish into filets.  The Dolphin bite  was happening if you kept a sharp eye out and covered the ground----tripletail and Blackfin Tuna were also in the mix-----Hey a sailfish was caught also on the Back Drop so it was a busy day all around!

Calm Day and this big bad  Bull Dolphin lost his Temper and bit!

Post Card Inn fishing report for 7/1/16

Hello all you anglers out there, well what are you doing here reading this , you should be out on the rip catching those Dolphin and Tuna!
Yes they have picked up and in slightly closer, I observed good catches of them yesterday as our Post Card Inn Charter fleet came in around 3 o'clock .Let's see there was also a wahoo,Amberjacks, Almaco Jacks and big Bonita! There were full racks of fish for the most part ---there were also those who stayed close and caught yellow tail snapper and they had a smattering of Dolphin mixed in ---Plenty of Smiles and plenty of Fillets for all!
Now it is the July fourth weekend so it is anybodies guess with all the traffic what it will bring fishing wise today Time will tell!
